Mundelein, IL - Podxref.com announced today the launch of a new access feature for podcasters. Podcasters, producers and their networks can now upload their podcasts and episodes into the podxref.com database and link them to the searchable library of over 16,000 podcasting personalities, live show locations and events. Access to upload and link is free for all podcasters.
Podxref.com gives podcasters and listeners a unique place to search for podcasts by hosts, guests, locations, genres, etc. while giving all users the opportunity to create personalized watchlists of their favorite shows and personalities.
Matt Rehm, founder of Podxref.com, said “Our goal is to better connect podcasters and listeners. We have built a search experience unlike any other by making discovery easy and accurate while giving podcasters a platform to differentiate themselves beyond just keywords.”
Podxref.com is moving podcasting out of the fuzzy search and into a robust cross reference experience already available for movies (IMDb) and music (AllMusic).
The impact of crossover can be significant in podcasting. Podxref.com’s own analytics indicate that over 36% of podcast guests crossover multiple podcasts and networks. Furthermore, these crossover personalities can have significant social media followings, averaging more than 310k Twitter followers and 618k Instagram followers. Equally impressive, 77% of podcast hosts crossover and appear as guest on shows other than their own. As expected, these percentages continue to grow as new podcasts are added. Podxref.com makes it easy to find this crossover content whether it was published last week or last year.
Podcasters of all genres and languages are encouraged to sign-up on podxref.com and begin adding to the crossover that is drawing more listeners deep into the diverse content found in podcasting.
